$1,250 for each event
Team roping is equal money included. We have all the events, including women’s breakaway and steer roping.
ADMISSION
All contestants must show their pass and companion pass for entrance into the gate.
A day sheet is provided to gate admissions. They know who is and isn’t entered. Please honor that!
Hospitality
Sponsored by Buxton Christian Church
Complimentary hospitality is provided for contestants & families during performance days and slack. The hospitality area includes great food, shower, and restrooms on-ground. The hospitality tent is South of the rodeo office.
There are also other food vendors on the grounds and local restaurants nearby (many of which are sponsors).
Limited hookups are available on-grounds or near arena. Call 620-288-4095 to ask about availability.
The Secretary’s office is in the little white building south of the arena. Signs are posted.
To Do While Here
Wednesday night before rodeo is the 5D open barrel race.
Fredonia has several parks in town. Local Historical museum. Nearby Neodesha, ( 15 mins of Fredonia) has a city lake for fishing and a Golf driving range. 4 lakes within 60 mins. Zoo with carousel ride, mini train rides, miniature golf and large park with in 30 mins of Fredonia

Staying on Grounds
Please be advised that there are PORTABLE PENS ALLOWED due to the limited amount of parking we have.
Wash racks to wash and water horses are available.
Limited horse stalls are available for $20/night. Must reserve in advance.

Parking & Directions
Access to the arena must be from the Washington Street entrance - the driveway has been constructed for big trailers. The third turn-in is the contestant’s gate. It is marked.
The arena is right by one of our city parks. Please respect no horse trailers or camping in the park area overnight. there is some hookups that can be reserved ahead of time by calling the Fredonia City Hall.
